In an online information meeting the DWD will provide information about the application process (content, time plan). The meeting will take place on 17 April 2026 from 10:00 - 12:00.

Eligible applicants are:

• German universities where Meteorology is taught up to the master's degree, and
• German universities or research institutions that are connected with such a university regarding teaching and research in Meteorology.
